CARBOHYDRATES
- Monosaccharides => Simple sugars (monomers of carbohydrates) (single units of GLUCOSE and its isomers)
- Disaccharides => Fairly simple sugars, 2 monosaccharides linked with an ester linkage and also has a separate water molecule
- Polysaccharides => Polymers of carbohydrates comprised of more than 2 monosaccharides, complex
